M.A.X - Mechanized Assault & Exploration

M.A.X. is one of the most under-appreciated PC strategy games of all time.  It was released by Interplay in 1996, to critical praise but limited popularity.

The best way to play it is with DOS Box.

The notes here are based on v1.04 of the game, which included some AI upgrades.
